Wrinkle Reduction

Is a very popular facial aesthetic treatment that reduces the signs of aging to give you a more youthful look. It is a non-surgical treatment that smooths the skin and lessens the visibility of the likes of crow’s feet, forehead wrinkles and frown lines to leave you with a younger, more toned look.

Facial skin naturally loses tone and elasticity as we age. This is due to a reduction in collagen and elastin production as well as the accumulation of years of different facial expressions and muscle use. The natural ageing process, lifestyle and the environment contribute to unwanted facial lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tones.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

Anti-Wrinkle reduction is a natural substance derived from a micro-organism which relaxes muscles and reduces the appearance of wrinkles from underneath the surface of the skin. Treatment is used to prevent and reduce lines and wrinkles which appear as frown lines between the eyes, forehead lines and crow’s feet. Although the results can be dramatic with treatment, it will not radically change your facial appearance. The muscles are simply relaxed, so you can still frown, smile, or look surprised without the wrinkles and creases between your brows.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are designed to increase the volume and improve the appearance of the skin. Fillers offer a safe and natural cosmetic treatment that restores volume and fullness to refresh and revitalise your looks. Ideal for deeper lines and wrinkles, dermal fillers work at a deep dermal level to delay the signs of ageing by ‘filling out’ and smoothing away wrinkles in troublesome areas that include nose to mouth grooves, forehead lines, frown furrows fillers can be used to temporally improve the definition of certain facial features including lips, cheek and chin.

It is usually suitable for women and men of all ages and skin types who are looking to improve their facial appearance. However, a consultation is required.

This varies with individuals. For Botox®, the rejuvenating effect will be evident after approximately 5 days and will last for approximately 3-6 months. For Dermal fillers, the effects are immediate and will last for approximately 6-9 months. After these periods, follow-up treatment can be carried out.

There is minimal discomfort during Botox® treatment and no anaesthetic is required. With Dermal Fillers, a topical anaesthetic is applied prior to the procedure for your comfort.

A small percentage of patients may temporarily experience bruising, headaches and eyelid drooping but these are rare. There have been no allergies associated to Botox® to date. The Dermal fillers that we use are non-permanent and the risks associated with them are minimal.
